Smoked herring with apple and horseradish salad

Ingredients
  • 2 smoked herrings
  • 1 piece horseradish (or use 150g of watercress or scurvy)
  • 1 apple
  • 200g sour cream (18% fat)
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
Equipment
  • Thin peeler
Directions
  1. Clean the horseradish thoroughly, peel it, and shave into flakes with the peeler.
  2. Clean the apple and cut it into cubes.
  3. Fold apples and horseradish into sour cream. Season with salt, pepper, and mustard.
  4. Serve in a bowl along with the smoked herring.
