        Smoked herring with apple and horseradish salad
Ingredients
- 2 smoked herrings
- 1 piece horseradish (or use 150g of watercress or scurvy)
- 1 apple
- 200g sour cream (18% fat)
- 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
Equipment
- Thin peeler
Directions
  - Clean the horseradish thoroughly, peel it, and shave into flakes with the peeler.
- Clean the apple and cut it into cubes.
- Fold apples and horseradish into sour cream. Season with salt, pepper, and mustard.
- Serve in a bowl along with the smoked herring.
Tips
Serve for lunch along with other types of herring or charcuterie.
