Grilled sand onions with cheese

Ingredients
  • 10 sand onions (or ramson)
  • 100g dry cheese, such as parmesan
  • 100ml olive oil
Equipment
  • Grill or grill pan.
Directions
  1. Clean the sand onions, leaving the root on. Cut the tops, so they are all about the same length.
  2. Grill the leeks until they are tender in the bottom.
  3. Glaze them with olive oil and give them one more minute on the grill.
  4. Grate the cheese.
  5. Arrange the onions on a tray and serve with freshly grated cheese on top.
