




Grilled sand onions with cheese
Ingredients
- 10 sand onions (or ramson)
- 100g dry cheese, such as parmesan
- 100ml olive oil
Equipment
- Grill or grill pan.
Directions
- Clean the sand onions, leaving the root on. Cut the tops, so they are all about the same length.
- Grill the leeks until they are tender in the bottom.
- Glaze them with olive oil and give them one more minute on the grill.
- Grate the cheese.
- Arrange the onions on a tray and serve with freshly grated cheese on top.
Tips
This dish makes a wonderful addition to a grilled steak or other meat.
