Waterways Lakes

Lakes

Lakes with reflective surfaces, dark waters, and lush riverbeds. Cattails stand tall by the water’s edge, and wild herbs thrive in the riverbeds.

    Introduction

  • From tiny ponds to vast reservoirs, lakes come in all different shapes and sizes. Lakes with still, clear waters may be good for the swimmer; however, they don’t have much to offer to the forager. For edible plants, look to darker, more turbulent bodies of water fed by creeks and streams.
